Offset plates. Repair and maintenance services. This Contract is for the supply and delivery of Fuji Pro-T3 Lithographic printing plates. The plates must be 100% process free and compatible with Screen Plate Rite 8600S Imaging machines. Each plate measures 1045 x 800 x 0.3mm, must be totally chemistry free, must not require a wash-gum unit and must be capable of a run up to a minimum of 70,000 impressions. It is estimated that 375 plates per month will be required, however this quantity is in no way guaranteed and will vary. The Contractor will also be required to provide a recycling service for the used plates. The Contractor will also be required to provide support and maintenance for qty 2 Screen Plate Rite 8600S machines. This will include on site support for an unlimited number of service visits per year, hardware and Trueflow RIP software support via telephone, software updates (bug fixes) first line support training and regular on-site preventative maintenance service visits. All support and maintenance must be carried out using the manufacturer's genuine parts and must be in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and service levels. The Contract will be for an initial period of 12 months starting in December 2013 or January 2014. It is the Authority's intention that this requirement will cease at a point after the initial period. As the exact date is unknown, there will also be 4 option periods of 3 months duration each. The value quoted within this notice covers all periods. The following quality standards apply to performance of this contract and evidence of compliance must be provided with expressions of interest – BSI-ISO 9001 – 9008 BSI-ISO 14001 (supply & recycling of plates) BS EN 60204-1 (repairs)
