On behalf of NHS Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), NHS Shared Business Services invites providers to a pre-procurement engagement event in relation to a potential tender for the provision of a Primary Care Mental Health and Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Service. Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) is a means of enabling people with common mental health problems, such as depression and anxiety disorders, to access evidence based psychological therapies. A person accessing IAPT will be assessed and provided with a level of support appropriate to their needs. This may be in a group, online or 1:1 face to face. The type of support given is dependent on the person's needs at the time of assessment, and a range of different therapies are available.
