The University wishes to appoint a contractor or contractors to supply an 800 MHz Multinuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer. Also required are upgrades to an existing 600MHz MMR spectrometer and an existing 500MHz MMR spectrometer. This equipment will support a wide range of research and will be a key enabler to the research strategy of the Manchester interdisciplinary biocentre (MIB). The funding for this project is a strictly cash limited sum and is also subject to strict time constraints. The University intends to place a firm order before the end of July 2011.
