To provide maintenance services to Screens and Associated Equipment to cover Thames Water needs for AMP6 across the whole Thames Water region. Equipment in scope: — Inlet & Storm Screens — Sludge Screens — Abstraction Screens — Grit Removal — Screenings Handling — Transfer Equipment (launder troughs, screw conveyors etc.) There are currently around 1000 screens and associated equipment as listed above, based mainly on waste sites: 60 sludge screens, 400 inlet screens, 230 screening handling units, 140 grit removal units, 130 abstraction screens, 25 storm screens. Across our estate, the key manufacturers are Longwoods, Jacopa, Huber, Spirac, Andritz, Vickerys and Ham Baker Adams although there are others across the regions in smaller volumes. Further asset details to be given within the Invitation to Negotiate. The agreement is split into Inlet Process Assets (comprising of inlet screens, storm screens, abstraction screens, screenings handling, transfer equipment and grit removal) and Sludge Screens. Inlet Process Asset maintenance providers will need to maintain all assets listed either directly or via a managed third party. The maintenance provider will be responsible for the condition and effectiveness of the asset. Services to be provided will be: 1. Refurbishment and component replacement (not asset replacement) 2. Planned preventative maintennace 3. Defect maintenance Thames Water will continue to provide ‘first response’ to issues and operational daily tasks (more details to be given in the Invitation to Negotiate). The lots are as follows: Lot 1- Inlet Process Assets (inlet screen, abstraction screen, storm screen, screening handling, grit removal plus transfer equipment such as launder troughs) Sublot 1 Thames Valley Sublot 2 North Sublot 3 South Lot 2 — Sludge Screens Sublot 1 Thames Valley Sublot 2 North Sublot 3 South Applicants can apply for any part of any lot, any lot, all lots or a combination.
