1.2.1 Aim of the procurement The delivery will consist of software and hardware that will be used for external control, logging and simulation in connection with research and teaching. It should be noted and called attention to the importance that the program - and the hardware can communicate with each other, and accordingly that the software offered is tailored / customized to the hardware provided. The offered solution should therefore consist of both hardware and software. The offered delivery shall be used by NTNU and possibly also by NTNU's border area companies for research and teaching purposes. Simple programming is required with a graphical programming tool. The offered delivery must include functions for data collection, handling data, normal functions for process control such as PID, fuzzy logic etc., data storage and communication. The software shall be tailormade for the hardware included in the delivery. The software shall be used for, amongst other things, data collection from measuring instruments, for automation, for instrument control and for analysis and presentation of collected data.
