NHS Herefordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (‘the CCG') is seeking to procure comprehensive and professional internal audit services which will examine, evaluate and report upon the adequacy of the internal control systems throughout the CCG and the extent to which the arrangements for risk management, control, and governance support the agreed objectives. There will be a significant focus on ensuring that the controls are maintained during a period of significant transformation across Herefordshire's health system. The Internal Audit Services must meet the mandatory standards for NHS Internal Audit Services, as set out in the Internal Audit Standards for the NHS (April 2011) including compliance with the Code of Ethics, and must meet other standards required by the NHS.
