NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (BNSSG CCG) was seeking to commission an internal audit service. The service is required to audit and give opinion on the performance of BNSSG CCG in all aspects of its financial, governance and risk management processes, in compliance with statutory duties together with the requirements of all relevant audit codes/manuals and any specific requirements for clinical commissioning groups. The initial contract term is for 3 years from 1.7.2019, with an optional extension of any period(s) up to a maximum of a further 2 years, as defined and at the discretion of the commissioner. The procurement was carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the commissioner.
