The scope of the contract is to design, manufacture, supply, deliver and assembly four soft X-ray mechanical systems although they must be priced individually and as a package. The mirror mechanical systems are used on the DLS I08 Beamline for soft and multi-keV transmission and photoemission spectromicroscopy in the 250 - 4200 eV photon energy range and lateral resolutions below 20 nm. Mirror optics are excluded from the specification except for elliptical mirror systems M4 and M6 where a bender option is preferred by DLS.
