Supply and installation of small scale wind turbines at various Council owned sites throughout mainland Orkney and Papa Westray and a number domestic properties throughout the islands of Eday, Papa Westray and North Ronaldsay. All wind turbines supplied and installed must comply with the noise restrictions which will apply to each of the identified sites. All turbines will be required to be eligible for the Feed in Tariff. Contractors will be required to provide maintenance cover for the turbines for a minimum 10 year period. It is envisaged that installations will take place over a 6 month period commencing February 2012.
