I stedet for: II.4) Short description of nature and quantity or value of supplies or services: The Directorate of Public Construction and Property shall, on behalf of Volda University College, construct a new building for media studies. The building, which will be a free-standing building on the campus, of between 4-6 000 m² gross, shall house a culture and viewing hall, special rooms for animation/newspaper/design, TV/radio/editorial and rooms for teaching and study areas. In order to make use of the branch's experience, competence and innovative qualities, the Directorate of Public Construction and Property plans to contract a consultant group (PG) for the programme and engineering design phase up to and including the sketch and preliminary project. In addition to quality assurance and detailing an existing rough programme, a central part of the programme phase will be to locate the building on the campus and to develop principles for the building design. The Directorate of Public Construction and Property will probably undertake the technical specifications, based on the function and room programme prepared by PG. PG will have a moderate resource use in the programme phase, which will be expanded in the engineering design phase (after the technical specifications have been prepared).
