FTIR spectrometer.

The FTIR spectrometer for in situ FTIR studies of surface reactions at the department, which currently is heavily used for other types of measurements. The new system must be a vacuum pumped system covering the far- to mid-infrared wavelength region, and be capable of performing kinetic studies in environmental reaction cells in transmission, specular and diffuse reflectance mode. The new system will have extended capabilities to perform far-infrared spectroscopy studies and will complement other infrastructure at the department. The instrument will be located at Div. Solid State Physcis, The Ångström Laboratory, whom also will be responsible for maintenance and services of the instrument.
