Since 2009 the SNP&Seq Technology Platform has performed medium scale genotyping of 48-384 SNP markers using Illuminas GoldenGateAssay on the VeraCode Technology. Illumina is about to discontinue these technologies Therefore the SNP&SEQ Technology Platform intends to replace the GoldenGate-Assays on VeraCode with a modern genotyping system with high throughput for low to medium scale genotyping.
