RNE provides different services to European Rail Infrastructure managers and allocation bodies including non-standard software applications, data exchange between several IT-systems and reporting. Software solutions provided by RNE are mainly located in the RNE datacenter which is divided into a production and a fail-over and test datacenter which are located in 2 different areas in Vienna. The current operation of the RNE datacenter is a managed housing solution. The service management methods are based on the concept of ITIL.
