Widely Tunable CW Laser System

The requirement is for a laser system, or systems for use on atomic physics experiments such as laser cooling and trapping, Rydberg excitation and non-linear optics. The system should supply high power, narrow linewidth laser light across a wide range of wavelengths in the visible and infra-red regions of the EM spectrum. The laser system(s) should include a wavemeter, frequency doubling module and be compact, stable, have low noise and easy to use. The machine will be located in the Department of Physics at Durham University. The budget excluding VAT is 200,000.
