The public realm works comprise an area approximately 35 000 m², including Colquhoun Square, sections of West Clyde Street, West and East Princes Street, West King Street, James Street, Colquhoun Street, Sinclair Street and the West Bay Esplanade. Argyll & Bute Council wishes to appoint a Contractor to deliver all construction services relating to the public realm works which include site clearance, high quality hard and soft landscaping, drainage and ducting, service provision and diversions, street furniture, signage, power and lighting, CCTV, artwork. The works will also comprise refurbishment of the public toilets and pumping station on the esplanade, as well as working in the vicinity of listed buildings and monuments.
