Scottish Canals has a requirement for the provision of vegetation management services, including management of grass surfaces, weed management on hard surfaces, control of invasive plants, vegetation clearance on structures, arboricultural works, carcass removal, litter pick, hedge maintenance, etc. The service is required for all areas for which SC has responsibility. Caledonian Canal, Crinan Canal, Forth and Clyde Canal, Union Canal, Monkland Canal, The Falkirk Wheel Site and The Helix Site.
