The Hallé wishes to procure the services of a main contractor to progress the refurbishment and extension of the Hallé, St Peter's building in Manchester. The project has now commenced RIBA Stage 4. The minor refurbishment and extension to the existing building has a total construction budget of 4 300 000 GBP exclusive of VAT. The contract which is the subject of procurement is to appoint a main contractor to deliver the construction contract in a period no more than 15 months. The contractor will be provided with a complete Stage 4 design It is the intention of the Hallé to enter into a JCT standard form of Contract with 1 main contractor.
