The DMO is exploring the possibilities for Blanking Units (BU) for its future frigates, with as first the planned capability Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigate (ASWF). The current plan is to realize full operational capability by 2028. The BU provides timing signals to de ESM when emitters on the ASWF start emitting RF signals, such that the ESM can (digitally) filter out those RF signals in the ESM receive chain. This to prevent the ESM or ESM operator to spent valuable time analyzing own ship signals. Interested eligible potential suppliers (hereinafter referred to as respondents) are requested to inform DMO by e-mail (bo.luders@mindef.nl) of their interest. The respondent is kindly requested to provide a single point of contact (name, address) when participating in this market consultation. After assessment of your request to participate DMO will give the respondents full access to the complete RFI documentation. Access to these documents will be given via the Negometrix platform. DMO may, without stating reasons, reject your request to participate in this RFI this does not mean that you may not participate in case of a Tender. You have until 11-07-2022 14:15 hours CET to apply for participation in this market consultation.
