Soft furnishings. Summary of Requirements/Description of Work: The Maritime Platform Systems (MPS) Team has a possible future requirement for the Manufacture, Supply and Delivery of Soft Furnishings for HM Ships. Items covered by this requirement will include:- Upholstery Covers for various Chairs and Sofas, Foams for same, Curtains and Rails, and various Bags. The requirements of the contract shall include but not be limited to the following: i. Providing stock of Patternised items as requested. ii. Manufacture of bespoke Non-Patternised requirements. iii. Visits to HM Ships as required to measure for bespoke Non-Patternised requirements, and to subsequently fit as necessary. Reverse Auction: Yes. Estimated Value of Requirement: CAT E - £5M - £10M. QA Standards: BS EN ISO 9001:2008 3rd Party Certification accredited/recognised by UKAS with an appropriate scope to meet the requirement. Expression of Interest procedure: Potential Suppliers wishing to register an interest in this requirement must provide their Expression of Interest (EOI) before the expiry date via letter or e-mail. After the EOI date has expired all eligible Suppliers will be issued with a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) from the Contracting Authority. Suppliers may be down selected to the Invitation to Tender (ITT) stage on the basis of the response/evidence provided in their PQQ submission. The Authority’s aim is to short-list no more than six companies to receive an ITT to ensure that the potential maximum number of received tender responses is manageable for the given tender evaluation period.
