The NHSS NSS National Distribution Centre (NDC) in Larkhall operates its warehouse facility using leased mechanical handling equipment (MHE). The NDC currently operates a 24/5 operation with a 24/7 operation during peak times. The MHE provided by the Contractor will support the Authority in the following objectives: — Fast and effective delivery to hospitals; — A safe working environment; — Efficient and accurate picking; — 100 % uptime of MHE as a pooled resource. Leased MHE is required over a 7 year period.
