Municipal Company “Dnepropetrovsk Metro” (the Employer) intends applying the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development [the Bank] and also, as expected, a Loan from the European Investment Bank towards the cost of Dnipropetrovsk Metro Construction Completion Project. The Employer intends prequalifying firms and joint ventures to tender for the following contract to be funded from the loan of the Bank and also as expected from the loan of EIB: Contract No.1A “Completion of Construction of Metro in Dnipropetrovsk” The scope of works on the Contract will include (but not limited): design; completion of the construction of station-to-station tunnels of the second power range site; the construction in the full volume of three station complexes with entrance halls, reclining (escalating) tunnels, accompanying networks; the topside structure of the track; purchasing, installation and electro-technical, sanitary-technical and other equipment checkouts; purchasing, installation and checkout of station operation, managing and train control equipments. The total length of the metro completion will be approximately 4 km. It is planned that the invitation in tendering will be published in February 2012, and contract award in July 2013. Prequalification and tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms and joint ventures of firms from any country. Upon the receiving of the corresponding duly completed in a written form request, both in Russian and English, on the letterhead of the company interested in it, Prequalification documents (electronic version in PDF format) will be delivered without delay by the Employer to the addresses of the interested sides by email. Nevertheless, the Employer will carry no liability for loss or late delivery of the Prequalification documents by the interested sides. The Application for the participation in the prequalification must be duly completed and delivered to the address below, on or before 14.00 by Kiev time, November, 22, 2012. The Application for the participation in the prequalification which are received late may be rejected and returned unopened.
