Internal audit services.

The Council is looking to put in place a new framework agreement for the delivery of internal audit services with effect from 1.4.2012, to ensure that the annual audit plan can be delivered and the Council's statutory obligations met. The services must comply with the CIPFA code of practice for internal audit in Local Government and ensure the delivery of the annual internal audit plan and compliance with the Councils statutory requirements. The contract will seek to obtain daily rates for general and computer audit as well as contract audit, fraud investigation, value for money reviews and audit of grant claims. The Council has estimated that initially 400 days per year will be required.
