UCLPartners Procurement Service on behalf of GOSH Haematology department require an upgrade from their existing AB3130 Genetic Analyzer (4-capillary) to a newer high-throughout version. A five year maintenance contract will aslo be required with the option to extend +1 +1. As such the department are looking for a trade-in on their existing machine. 1. A minimum of 24 capilliaries. 2. Be suitable for use with the following dye chemistrys: Those used in the Big Dye v.3 kits, Rox, 6FAM, Fluoroscein, as used with the promega Powerplex 16 kit, JOE (6-Carboxy-4',5'-dichloro-2',7'-dimethoxyfluoroscein), as used with the Promega Powerplex 16 kit, TMR (carboxy-tetramethylrhodamine), as used with the Promega Powerplex 16 kit, CXR (carboxy-X-rhodamine), as used with the Promega Powerplex 16 kit. 3. Be capable of DNA sequencing (Sanger sequencing). 4. Be capable of fragment analysis. 5. To be able to generate result files suitable for downstream analysis with GeneMapper 5 software (fragment analysis) and Sequencing Analysis 6 software (sequencing). 6. Have associated hardware and software required to run the Genetic Analyzer (e.g. a PC with data collection software). 7. Be able to run 6 fluorescent dyes simultaneously for fragment analysis.
