Javno komunalno preduzeće Beogradski vodovod i kanalizacija (Public Utility Company Belgrade Waterworks and Sewerage, “Company”), the sole provider of potable water in the City of Belgrade (“City”), has applied for the loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to finance rehabilitation of the water supply improvements in the City. The proposed project has a total estimated cost of up to EUR 14.5 million and will consist of two Tranches. The project will require procurement of the following works and goods from the Tranche 2: Tranche 2 of EUR 7.3 million: • Refurbishment of Water Treatment Plant “Jezero” • Electric equipment for water pumping station “Sava” Tendering for the project of Tranche 2 is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2017. Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the EBRD will be tendered in accordance with the EBRD’s Procurement Policies and Rules. The proceeds of the EBRD loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
