PURCH1261 Framework Agreement for the Provision of Workwear Rental and Laundry Services for the duration of 3 years with the option to extend for 12 months. The University has a requirement for the rental and laundering of workwear, janitorial items and linen. The purpose of this Agreement is to provide a choice of services to departments in the following categories: — Lot 1 — Rental and Laundry of Workwear; — Lot 2 — Rental and Laundry of Janitorial Items; — Lot 3 — Laundry Only Services. You may tender for any or all of the Lots and must submit a separate Tender for each Lot. Please ensure you indicate clearly on your tender response which Lots you are applying for. As a guide, the University currently requires approximately 8 400 washes per annum for workwear, based either on a rental and laundry service basis or on a laundry only service on an ad-hoc basis, and the weekly cleaning of approximately 148 janitorial items. This figure is an estimate only and is the best guide the University has with regards to usage of this service. Management Information will be required on an annual basis in a format to be agreed. Required information includes: — Item type and number of items rented and laundered by user department; — Item type and number of items on a laundry only service by user department; — Total annual spend by user department. Should paper tenders be submitted, they will be rejected. Further to this any questions or communications regarding individual tender exercises must be sent via the Public Contracts Scotland Portal.
