The service is intended for the development and provision of a new tier 2 open access and engagement (OAE) low threshold integrated substance misuse service for adults over the age of 18. The service will complement and work collaboratively as part of a wider consortium to support the single assessment entry to drug and alcohol service (EDAS). Partnerships will be built with the integrated family support service (IFSS), The throughcare, aftercare and recovery support (TARS) service and other third sector organisations inclusive of, but not limited to, domestic abuse agencies, sex worker programmes, housing support, benefits advice agencies, employment services and criminal justice support.
