Market Consultation II RNLAF Initial Flight Training Capacity

Current (AC) platforms provides the RNLAF with an ab initio/initial flight training program for student pilots. This training program is aimed at preparing student pilots for the next phase of flight training and stream them for either a fast-jet, fixed-wing, helicopter or UAV platform. As the RNLAF has started a transition towards a ‘fifth generation’ air force, the training organisation and the way of training has to be adapted to that philosophy. The first market consultation has been published on 10 August 2020 on the Negometrix platform with reference no. 157323. The information gathered in the first market consultation has been used to make adjustments to the functional and other requirements. These customized requirements are set down in this market consultation II. By launching this market consultation, the DMO as the contracting authority is looking for AC products and services to support the transition.
