The proposed Greater Dublin Drainage Project will provide; — A new regional wastewater treatment plant (WwTP) located at Clonshagh in Fingal, County Dublin, Ireland. (Separate PIN Notice Ref 18/086), — 26 km Orbital Sewers including 2 pumping stations and outfall pipeline, linking the proposed Regional WwTP to the existing regional sewer network and marine outfall (This PIN), — Marine Outfall discharging 4,5 km out to sea from Baldoyle Bay, 1km northeast of Ireland’s Eye (This PIN). The Works are necessary to facilitate future development in North and West County Dublin and alleviate the treatment pressures that currently exist at Ringsend WwTP.
