Phase 4 works consist of construction of flow control structures at Lochardil Burn, Slackbuie channel, Slackbuie Springs and Ault na Skiah Burn, these will divert flow into the proposed flood relief channel. There is approximately 730 m of precast culvert units, 3m x 2m, with associated headwalls. In addition there is 650 m of lined open channel. The project will involve construction adjacent to and under public roads and is situated between existing housing developments. Companies wishing to express interest who are not already prequalified with TEC Services for Works of this nature, should complete and return the PQQ as instructed. ALL companies expressing interest MUST also submit the 'Details of Works Experience' form & return to Garry Smith either by email or post before noon 7.1.2011 - both forms are attached as Additional Documentation to this advertisement. The restricted number of companies (normally between 5 and 8) will then be invited to tender on the basis of PQQ score, Tender History, Performance History, proven recent experience of works of this nature, capability and financial factors - in accordance with the Scoring Matrix as attached as Additional Documentation. The works will be carried out under NEC 3 Option A, the tender award to be based on the lowest tender assessment price.
