The municipalities in the Hedmark ICT collaboration (Hamar, Stange, Løten, Nord-Odal, Sør-Odal, Kongsvinger and Grue) have a joint initiative on welfare technology systems, and have organised this in a joint inter-municipal project. The aim of the process and the project is to ensure good services with the use of welfare technology systems for employees and service recipients. So far in the initiative, the municipalities have procured a welfare technology core system (administration platform). The next part of the process is the procurement and implementation of welfare technology final user equipment/transmitters, which will be administered in the already procured core system. The municipalities currently have varying experiences with the use of welfare technology, both as regards the type of technology and the scope. Based on the completed mapping and practical experience in each municipality, the municipalities envisage a need for procurements within the categories of feeling safe, warnings, mastering, and activation technology.
