Lappeenranta University of Technology (‘LUT’) is carrying out this enquiry to find out answers to questions and price information related to force platforms. LUT is aiming to strengthen it's biomechanical research and enable robust measurements of human gait and physical activities. Force platforms are the key elements used for measurements of ground reaction force between subject's feet and ground. This data is in turn required for accurate computer modelling of human gait and estimation of muscle forces and dynamic bone loading. Accuracy of force measurements has significant effect on the computational models accuracy; therefore much emphasis will be put on the quality, repeatability and stability of the measurements.
