The University of Leicester has a number of research groups (located in the Henry Wellcome Laboratories of Structural Biology - HWLSB) whose research uses NMR spectroscopy as a tool to understand the structure / functional relationships of biological macromolecules. HWLSB currently has 4 NMR spectrometers operating at 500, 600 (x2) and 800 MHz 1H resonance frequencies. One of the 600 MHz spectrometers is to be updated with a new console and cryogenically cooled probe head. This award is for the supply of such equipment that complies or surpasses with the specifications in the Invitation to Tender document.
