80451 Taxiways and aircraft parking areas Contract 80451 Taxiways and aircraft parking areas in project T3 New Terminal Flesland is a construction contract for the establishment of the new ‘Flysiden’ associated with the new Terminal T3. The contract includes the remodeling of the entire existing Apron S adapted for the new vertical conditions with the new superstructure, new storm water system and new taxiway lines and associated wiring systems. The new taxiway Foxtrot shall be established by the existing terminal as a new transverse taxiway between taxiway Whiskey and Yankee. A new superstructure shall be established for approximately 37 000 m 2 with a new apron / taxiway and approximately 32 000 m 2 of new service roads and areas of Pir. Six new , bridge associated aircraft parking areas shall be established at the new Pir. The aircraft parking areas shall have approx. 18 500 m 2 of concrete cover, of which approximately 6 500 m 2 shall be established with a snow melting facility. Each aircraft parking areas shall be fitted with concrete tanks for technical aircraft service, respectively ground electricity and drinking water. The establishment of a new superstructure involves the removal of approximately 70 000 m 3 of existing superstructure masses on Apron S, to be transported and deposited locally at the airport. The new superstructure shall be established by broken masses available from the Client's landfill, and includes approximately 30 000 m 3 of various base course masses and approximately 40 000 m 3 of subbase. Also included the backfill of masses for trenches for water and sewer facilities, the cable management system and routing for technical aircraft service and snow melting facilities. As an extension of the existing remote parking areas on the Remote Apron S a new combination space for a larger aircraft (code E) shall be established, or alternatively 2 smaller aircraft as new remote parking areas 9. The area shall be established with the superstructure for the asphalt pavement and with floodlights and cabinets for electrical outlets for aircraft's. The contract includes the demolition of walls, a processing plant, substation and other smaller installations with Apron S. The existing plumbing and wiring systems on Apron S shall be demolished, as well as the existing asphalt pavement (about 33 000 m 2 ) and concrete cover (about 3 500 m 2 ). There is a recognized option for the demolition of two existing fixed point / aircraft bridge. The contract is essentially based on a performance, but with somewhat less on detail engineering. Parts of the works shall take place in the red zone.
