Full Mission Bridge Simulator

This project aims to purchase, install and implement a bridge simulator complying to the requirements for a Nautical bridge simulator as set by the Netherlands Shipping Inspectorate (NSI) in the Guideline for Maritime simulators (see appendix 4) and requirements as set by DNV in the standard for Maritime simulator systems (DNV-ST-0033 edition June 2021 or newer). This simulator is to be installed at STC Group location Katwijk, the Netherlands. An additional delivery of a second identical setup at STC Group location Stellendam, the Netherlands, is an option. These full mission bridge simulators will be used during the education of Maritime Officers all ships, Officer / Engineer of the Watch (<3000GT / 3000kW) and Officer of the Watch (<500GT) on a senior secondary vocational level (MBO). Optionally, students in the Fishery track may train some fishing operations on these simulators as well.
