The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, intends to extend the deployment of virtualisation in its environment utilising VMware vSphere 5.1. One of the main elements of this this role will involve the analysis, development, implementation and maintenance of the virtualised environment for the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine utilising VMware vSphere 5. Under a shared service agreement between the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine and the Department of Communications Energy and Natural Resources (DCENR), the IT Operations function for DCENR is now provided by The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the maintenance and administration of DCENR's VMware vSphere 5 environment which currently consists of 100+ virtual machines.
