Armoured vehicle and protected patrol vehicle equipment failure report analysis.

Data analysis services. Equipment Failure Report (EFR) data from theatre drives a high volume of Post Design Service activity (covering obsolescence management, system upgrades and safety modifications) within Combat Tracks Group and Combat Wheels Group. There is an ongoing requirement for the analysis of EFRs in order to transform raw data into information that can inform procurement and support decisions. The supplier will collect EFRs (approximately between 5 000 and 10 000 per annum), interpret them (if necessary going back to the originating unit for clarification), categorise them and input them to a database. The EFRs will then be subject to trend analysis by component part, the analysis using current and historical data such as failure rates and spares usage. EFRs must also be cross-referenced to reports received from Industry in order to confirm the original failure diagnosis by the unit; and the supplier will also enter Oil Health Monitoring data onto the database against the associated managed assemblies in order to identify platforms that have undergone major assembly changes. The supplier will provide weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports upon request to the relevant project team within DE&S; and prepare and issue acknowledgments to the originating units on a monthly basis. The supplier must also hold a current accredited 3rd party ISO 9001-2008 certificate, or equivalent, showing the scope of the certification, the date the assessment was performed, and the expiry date.
