Coleg Gwent is the largest further education college in Wales and one of the largest further education colleges in the United Kingdom. There are six main campuses located at Crosskeys, Ebbw Vale, Newport, Pontypool, Usk and Abergavenny (awaiting disposal) In addition there are two out-reach centres at Monmouth and Cwmbran. This tender is for Measured Term Contracts for Mechanical services to Coleg Gwent. The JCT Measured Term Contract will be employed and an electronic helpdesk will be operated by contractors and client. A schedule of response times (including an emergency response) will be stipulated for this discipline. The Mechanical Contract will consist of reactive maintenance (approximately %40 % of the contract value) and annual maintenance, examination and testing of a wide range of building mechanical engineering services including LEVs,, catering equipment and kitchen cleaning, fume cupboards,,HVAC etc. The PSA Schedule of Rates for Mechanical Services (6th Edition 20011) will be adopted.
