Detection apparatus for mines. DSG Land Supply Business Unit which is part of the UK Ministry of Defence, proposes to award a 2 year Enabling Contract, with options to extend for a further period of 2 years, in yearly increments to Vallon GmbH for the supply of spares in support of the Vallon (VMH3CS) Mine Detector. It is considered that this contract can be placed using the Negotiated Procedure without Prior Publication pursuant to Article 28(1)(e) of Directive 2009/81/EC (Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011) for reasons connected to the exclusive design rights belonging to Vallon GmbH and such articles can not be provided without access to proprietary design information.
