We are asking for bids on the receipt, repair, the distribution of and information about books under purchasing arrangements respectively for Norwegian fiction books for adults, Norwegian fiction books for children and young adults, Norwegian non-fiction for adults, Norwegian Professional literature for children and young adults, translated fiction for children, young adults and adults and comic books for children, young adults and adults. The six purchasing arrangements include treatment of a varying number of titles annually, totaling approximately 650 000 units annually, with most books supplied by publishers in the autumn. Each scheme has a different transmission rate and the books are shipped primarily to Norwegian public and school libraries. The agreement is initially for one year with possible extension for a further three years, with one year at a time for up to 4 years. This follows volumes of books, that is, from the first book published in 2013 to a maximum of the last book published in 2016. Estimated cost is approxiamently 25 000 000 NOK excl. VAT. of up to 4 years. This is an estimation and not binding for the awarding authority. The awarding authority is free in their use of services under the agreement.
