Project name: Lviv District Heating Project Country: Ukraine Business sector: Municipal and environmental infrastructure Project ID: 8816-GPN-39300 Funding source: EBRD, E5P, CTF Type of contract: Project goods, works and services Type of notice: General procurement notice Issue date: 31.08.2017 Closing date: 31.08.2018 This is an update of the original notice published on 18.12.2014 Lviv City Communal Enterprise “Lvivteploenergo” intends using the proceeds of loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“EBRD”), Clean Technology Fund (“CTF”) and a grant from the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership ("E5P") Fund for a project aimed at reducing energy losses, reducing gas and electricity consumption and improving the quality of service of the heat and hot-water supply system in the City of Lviv. The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 30 million equivalent, will require the procurement of the following remaining contract to be financed from the proceeds of EBRD and CTF loans: • Biomass fuelled CHP, estimated 25 MW Tendering for the above contract is expected to begin in the Q4 2017. Tendering for other contracts has been completed. The above contract to be financed with the proceeds of loans from EBRD and CTF will be subject to the EBRD Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the loans will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
