Steam Turbine Plant of KYVO3 Bioenergy Plant

KYVO3 project will be executed in 2 phases. In the first phase a circulated fluidized bed (CFB) boiler and flue gas condensing plant will be built for heat production. The boiler fuel input is approximately 170 MJ/s and the primary fuels will be forest residue, milled peat and coal. The first phase of the project will be in commercial operation in 2019. In the second phase in accordance of electricity market development the plant will be supplemented with CHP steam turbine plant. The new turbine is planned to be in commercial operation in 2021.
