Provision of care home services for adults with a learning disability via a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).

The Authority is seeking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (‘DPS’) for the provision of care home services for adults with a learning disability. The DPS will be used as the mechanism through which the Authority will procure care home services for adults with a learning disability, and which places a strong emphasis on outcomes for adults, so that their needs and aspirations can be met. It is a key priority of the Authority to protect the most vulnerable by taking a person-centered approach, helping residents on the island to enjoy a good quality of life and supporting people to live as independently as they can in their own communities whenever possible. The DPS is to go live on 16.10.2017 and will operate for a period of 48 months with the option to extend for a further period of up to 24 months.
