Community Ophthalmology Service

Ealing CCG is seeking to extend its current community ophthalmology contract with the incumbent provider for a further 18 months period. This is in accordance with Regulation 72(1)(b) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. This has become necessary as a change of contractor at this time cannot be made for economic or technical reasons because it would cause significant inconvenience to patients who currently access the service closer to home and substantial duplication of costs for Ealing CCG.
