One North East is committed to actively deliver the governments policy for an electric vehicle infrastructure to the North East Region. This requirement is funded from the office for low emission vehicles plugged in places programme. The Contracting Authority is seeking to appoint a minimum of three suppliers to the framework to supply the contracting authorities as named in Section VI herein. The initial requirement for One North East is for the supply of 12 DC/AC quick chargers for electric vehicles. It is anticipated that each framework supplier will each supply 4 units subject to availability in the project timescales. The Agency reserves the right to award the supply of units as it sees fit to allow project completion to be achieved no later than 31.12.2010. It should be noted that appointment to the framework to provide these units is not a guarantee of contract award to supply one or more of the 12 units.
