The requirement that outer jackets shall be manufactured in a material that fulfils the Global Organic Textile Standard (e.g. organic cotton, bamboo, lyocell tencel) and/or Organic Content Standard cannot be fulfilled by any of the actual tenderers. Several tenderers can deliver hooded jackets that fulfil the Global Organic Textile Standard and/or the Organic Content Standard and a fleece jacket in completely or partially recycled material, but not in the same or nearly the same blue (PMS 287) and green (PMS 362) colours from REN's graphical manual. This is an absolute requirement in the specifications. The price form states that minor deviations are allowed, limited to a maximum of 2 empty product lines when filling in the price form. REN has, therefore, when assessing the competition, given all tenderers the option of having 2 deviations from the specifications. However, all the qualified tenderers have a minimum of 3 deviations, as they either cannot fulfil REN's colour requirements or material content requirements. There are, therefore, no qualified tenders in this competition. The competition must therefore be cancelled.
