The subject of this tender is the drilling of vertical shafts and connection to the existing HDPE pipe at Mizieb limits of Mellieha, Malta. To achieve this, the tenderer has to locate the existing underlying HDPE pipe at il-Mizieb, and then drill a vertical shaft to connect a new 250 mm HDPE pipe from the older 350 mm pipe through this shaft up to ground level for the purposes of distributing highly polished water (known locally as new water) through this connection.
