Air defence radar. ADATS DT has a requirement for the provision of Post Design Services and Industrial Support for the Watchman Primary Surveillance Radar, including equipment containers/cabins for all fixed and tactical variants. The support must offer emergency on-site assistance to diagnose faults or take remedial action as required by the Authority and be able provide the procurement of beyond economical repair line replaceable units (LRU) and sub assemblies. The contractor shall be responsible for providing Design Authority (DA) of any proposed activity outside the terms detailed within the Statement of Work. The Contractor shall be resposible for the safe custody of all MoD owned equipment such as manufacturing drawings, Production Test Specifications, maintaining all current Air Technical Publications (ATP) and any Safety Case documentation pertaining to the system iaw DEFSTAN 00-56. The contractor must be able to carry out testing and repairs of specified Watchman LRU's. Interested companies are to note that the Watchman System was purchased as a COTS product and that they will need to satisfy themselves and certify to the Authority that they can obtain access to any necessary IPR in order to provide the requirement. Alternatively, interested companies can provide assurance that no such access is required for them to be able to undertake the work. Interested parties should consider that they may need to enter into a licence agreement with Selex Integrated Systems Ltd who are the MoD Design Organisation and owners of IPR in MoD owned Watchman Radar.
