Blackpool Council is a Unitary Authority with a number of other subsidary companies. The Blackpool Entertainment Company Ltd is responsible for the operation and management of the Winter Gardens Complex, and the events therein. The company commenced this role on 1.7.2014. Blackpool Entertainmnet Company Ltd intends to implement revised ticketing arrangements, initially for the Blackpool Winter Gardens. The future extension of the solution to include ticketing of other attractions and events both in Blackpool and further afield, is a key objective. Expressions of interest are invited from organisations with the ability to meet the requirements set out in the briefing document. Orgainsations wishing to express their interest must register on The Chest https://www.the-chest.org.uk (ref 9QDQ-MHWVKW) and download the brief which provides more information. Your expression of interest together with your supporting information must be received by no later than Monday, 17.11.2014. Blackpool Entertainment Company Ltd will select organisations who demonstrate relevant understanding and experience to participate in further dialogue as part of a soft market testing exercise. The main purpose of this notice is to help the Blackpool Entertainment Company Ltd scope requirements, understand market capability and assess levels of interest. Your expressions of interest must include details of your track record/ experience in the provision of this type of solution. Please provide this information in no more than 2 pages of A4 (4 sides). This information will form the basis of how Blackpool Entertainment Company Ltd will choose the participants. Please note: clarification questions are not appropriate at this stage. Blackpool Entertainment Company Ltd require only a written response from your organisation with the details requested above. Please note participation or non-participation in dialogue will confer no advantage or disadvantage should the Blackpool Entertainment Company commence a formal procurement process.
