Procurement of TGA/DSC-GC/MS instrument.

KTH intends to purchase a combined instrument for the Thermo-Gravimetry-Differential Colorimetry/Gas Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry analysis (TGA/DSC-GC/MS instrument). The instrument will be used for the teaching and in a number of research projects by mainly doctoral students and researchers at the Department of Fiber and Polymer Technology for the analysis of various materials, composites and for the control of the course of synthesis of novel materials. Such instrument allows detecting, separating and analyzing organic components in polymers, biomass and biocomposites. The budget for this procurement is limited and is maximum 1 300 000 SEK.
