Bidders should note the Authority will be seeking to redeveloped its network of HWRCs during the early part of the contract term, this is a separate procurement and will not form part of this contract. The anticipated contract start date is the 1.4.2015. The Contract term is 7,5 years with another 7,5 years possible extension period. The total tonnage collected at the Authoritys four HWRCs in 2013/14 was 28 038 tonnes. — lot 2: Waste Transfer Station Management Contract. The Council is looking at the possibility of developing a Waste Transfer Station (WTS) within the Authority area. In this event the Council would be seeking a Contractor to manage and operate is WTS. This would include the provision of management, day to day operation and routine maintenance of the WTS. It is anticipated any WTS built by the Authority will be operational by September 2016. The contract dates of this lot have been set to run concurrently with the HWRC contract.
